BIO
Roy started his photographic career in the early 1980's with publishing house Hodder & Stoughton where he became chief photographer producing cover artwork, author portraits and advertising media.
In 1990 he turned freelance and has since worked in many areas of photography including advertising (food & product), travel, tourism, company report & editorial for such clients as the BBC, BT, Unwins, CB Richard Ellis, M&S & John Lewis.
In recent years Roy has also been running a variety of photography workshops, both locally and at the Royal Academy,London.

Working in a highly professional yet unobtrusive manner allows us to produce stylish, natural images with the minimum of formality.
From large multi-location weddings to small ceremonies, with over 20 years experience photographing weddings across the UK and internationally we feel we truly understand the needs of our clients.

Starts Wednesday 8th February
10.30a m - 12.30pm for 4 weeks
Designed for beginners, this 4 week course will cover all the essentias necessary to producing better pictures - from camera settings to composition and much more... suitable for beginners & improvers - all camera types suitable.

Expressing movement
Location: Angmering Community Centre
Saturday 9a m - 11.30am 18th February
Morning workshop demonstrating all the techniques involved in creating a sense of movement in your images.From zooming & panning techniques to simple shutter speed control....great for adding a new dimension to your pictures.
NB: Will need a camera with control over shutter speed (usually S or Tv setting)

Enhancing your images
Location: Angmering Community Centre

An introduction to the art of enhancing your images using software. Using lightroom, all the important aspects of photo enhancing will be demonstrated from simple contrast and colour controls to black&white to more radical special effects....essential for those wishing to take their images further.
